These are the monthly events that keep CLDC connected to the everyday needs of Davidson County, led by local business owners who show up to serve, not just support from afar.
School Staff Appreciation
We provide meals or snack bags to staff at local Davidson County schools to recognize their daily work.
Firefighter Fridays
For three months each year, we deliver meals to different fire stations across the county to thank first responders for their service.
Mock Interview Volunteering
Members volunteer at middle schools to help students prepare for the future through realistic interview practice.
Jingle Walk
During the holiday season, we hand out candy to students at five elementary schools in Northern Davidson County.
Annual Volunteer Scholarships
Each year, we award scholarships to graduating seniors from North Davidson and Oak Grove High School, recognizing those with the highest number of volunteer hours.
These events happen regularly throughout the year because impact shouldn’t be seasonal.
